“Rhythm of Play” 2025

"Rhythm of Play” is a sculptural interpretation of the vibrant sound of children playing on a playground — a moment of pure happiness transformed into visual form. I began by recording the joyful sounds of kids at play, then used a music editing program to isolate a section that captured their energy. This sound was my blueprint.
The sculpture is made from wood, carefully crafted and hand-painted. Its shape reflects the musical frequencies tied to the emotional highs of childhood joy, while the vibrant color gradients represent the heat and movement of children in motion — a visualization of their physical and emotional energy.
To create a multi-sensory experience, I added a QR code that allows viewers to listen to the original audio — the laughter, the running, the voices — so they can hear the joy that inspired the piece.
